A pretty rural village nestled in the foothills of Mt Warning, 24km west of Murwillumbah.

Located virtually under the rim of the caldera due west of Mt Warning, Tyalgum has spectacular views with plenty of open spaces to enjoy a picnic or a stroll along the creeks.
An old cedar getting village, Tyalgum is famous for its Hall, renowned for its acoustics and the attendant Classical Music festival each September. Whether you’re a local or a visitor to the region, there’s something for everyone at the historic Diggers Family Fun Day, in July. Other historic buildings include the Tyalgum Hotel and the ‘Old Bakery’ building circa 1926.

Tyalgum has convenient access to Wollumbin National Park and Mebbin National Park. With spectacular views of Mt Warning and the Pinnacle you can also find a range of accommodation from the Historic Hotel, B&B and camping. Hikers heaven!
